Today was our first day of school. The girls had a great time and really like their new teachers. Natalie has Mrs. Williams for 2nd grade and Courtney has Mrs. Fortner for Kindergarten. [...] Here are a couple of new pictures. The sun was out so we went for a walk. Courtney decided to wear her butterfly wings and tinkerbell shoes. I got the shoes at a consignment sale on Saturday and she has not taken them off since. Here are some videos from [...] Today we were playing Monopoly as a family and Courtney said, “Mommy, can I see your moose?” I said, “What are you talking about, I don’t have a moose”. She said, “Yes, your moose right here on your side”. (Be sure to say your r’s like you are from Boston to get the full affect [...] We had a great day today. We were home all day and just enjoyed being together as a family with my mom and Mike’s parents. We were even able to chat online with some family in California. The highlight for me was at the end of the day. Natalie played a christmas song on the [...] Ok somehow we have avoided a visit with Santa for 6 years. We have been honest about Santa Claus only to be told by our children that we are wrong and that he is real. So last year we gave in to peer pressure (our parents) and let them have their own ideas of [...] Here are some pics from our adventures [...] I think I always tied these two traits together. Until I met Courtney. She is trully compassionate. It comes naturally to her. She genuinly cares about people and their feelings. She is very affectionate. She will share her last bite of dessert with you. However, she is not gentle. This is a trait she has [...] We received a wonder woman costume from a good friend (thanks Dina). The girls had fun trying it on even if it is a little too small for at least one of them. [...] We had a puppet show today. Be sure to notice the lack of Natalies teeth [...] |
